IMO it depends a little on the look of your car, too. Drilled/slotted might look a little overdone on a stockish car (not saying yours is, I read your sig). I'm probably looking at new rotors soon, too, so will follow this thread with interest.

cross drilled looks nice. How's the reliability on these?

I'll be doing my break on all 4 corners soon and have been looking at R1concepts rotors. I'll probably go with their Regular Eline Cross Drilled & Slotted. For break pads I am looking at Axxis Ultimate pads (Ceramic with Kevlar) or Ctek pads (Metallic). I am not too worry about dust. Has anyone use ether of these break pads brand before? A guy with an M3 wrote a review for Axxis Ultimate - seem decent for enthusiastic street ride. How about Ctek?

Im in the process of doing my front brakes ATM and am looking at a set of EBC 3GD rotors from FIFA RACING. They are slotted and dimpled as opposed to cross-drilled. I am matching them with Hawk HPS pads upfront.
