Okay so i went on to replacing my upper control arm, and had everything back together when i noticed that my new control arm doesnt have the little notch on that the old one did which slotted into the a-arm. Now its loose and not seated all the way and im not sure what to do. I dont know if the little notch thing on the old one will come off or what.

I took some pics.

Old one with the little notch deal:

New one (i can squeeze these together now. Not planted)

Any help is greatly appreciated so i can get my car put back together.

Not sure but are you talking about the conical bushing??? If so I used a bearing separator to remove that and put them on the SPC arms.

Forgot to mention. You can swing by a nissan or infiniti dealer and pick up brand new conical bushings if you're not able to remove them from the stock arms.
