Dampers..

Guys for those of you who have coils with damper what settings did you guys set at for street comfort?

Most of my buddies keep them a couple clicks from full soft.

I'm 8 clicks from full stiff on my f&f's, it may be a bit stiff for most

We do realize that with so many different products and so many different personel tastes that all the answers are pretty much meaningless to anyone other than person replying.

Spring rates differ, valving differs, and what happens to valving when you do adjust differs product to product.

One man's comfort settings can be another man's skipping across the top's of road imprefection's.

Start at full soft and make upward changes as you yourself see fit, keeping a watchfull eye out for when you've gone too far.

And buyer beware, some setup's do not deliver ride comfort no matter what they claim or how you set them.

If you have really high spring rates, you're not going to have a choice but to run the shocks at a fairly stiff setting in order for them to handle the springs.

If your springs are way stiff, you probably won't get a decent ride no matter what you set the shocks at.
