toe bolt elongation on a 2007?

Hey guys, I finally getting around on installing the toe bolt and elongating the hole at the end of the spring bucket. I studied the PDF DIY for the job and it looks easy, however when i looked at my spring bucket it looks completely different at the end than the one on the DIY. It has a black metal bracket instead of just a bolt. Is the 07' different from the 03-06's? I dont want to start cutting anything enless i know for sure. any one that can clarify would be a great help!!! Thanks.

ok. i found an article pertaining to buying longer toe bolts for g's with RAS. So do i still have to elongate the hole or simply installing longer toe bolts from SPL will do the trick.

Thanks,

Pic's would really help.

Elongated toe cam bolt's offer more toe adjustment then factory by having a larger cam washer. This combined with the slot being enlarged is where the greater range of toe control comes from since side to side movement is increased.

You should have received a paper template with the elongated toe cam bolts. Put this template to the slot the bolt's sit in, if you see that materal need's to be removed according to the template, you just answered your question.

Might RAS equipped car's come from the factory with wider slot's? I have no idea.

no template came with the toe bolts. I have a 2007 with RAS. So i dont know if i am able to do the toe bolt modification. I need to know if there is an alternative for those who have RAS and if so, what it entails. Thanks
