After 350z H-techs
After 350z H-techs
I've had my 350z H-techs installed for about 4 months now and so far I love the drop. I definitely notice more of a drop in the front than the rear but it's not bad. The ride is definitely not soft like the G35 Teins would have been in the rear.
Today I took my car in again to check my camber/toe settings because my front tires were starting to wear bad on the outside. The shop was able to put my rear tires into -1.9 degrees camber (right on the edge of specified range of -1.9 to -0.9 degrees), but the fronts are still way off. They were able to put the front camber to -1.8 degrees (specified range is -1.2 to 0.3) and -1.7 degrees. My toe seems to be fine. So it looks like I'll definitely be needing a front camber kit if I don't want to continuously eat my front tires
The pictures I put up were taken soon after the install, tomorrow I'll post some more recent pictures. The car has settled a little since then.
You guys agree I'd probably be alright just getting the front camber kit? I'm trying not too spend too much I'd rather spend on other mods.

Looks good! You can always do a rear springmount mod to even out the drop in the rear. I used to run these springs and liked them a lot. Camber is a bit off, do you have a rear camber kit or no?
Front camber kit would be a good investment or at least you could (if you have the right tires) flip them to even out wear. Don't worry I'm running -3 degrees on my fronts and -4 in my rears :P

My car's in the shop getting a new battery/front tires right now I'll try to take some soon. I've thought about doing the rear springmount mod, but honestly it's pretty good how it is. Since this post I purchased a F and R Ichiba Camber kit so I'm back in spec and the car handles so much better. Definitely noticed uneven tire wear in the front.
