Anyone know the stock height for a Coupe? Top of the fender arch for a stock Sedan (not including G35xs) is 27.5".

Damn you guys are low. 24" geez. I would also like to know the stock height as well for the 03-07 G35 coupes. I believe it should be around 27" or so. Can someone with a stock coupe measure and post up their results?

I think being slammed has to do more with ground clearance than measuring suspension settings through fender height?

Anyway I went out and did some quick measurements regardless
Front fender: 24 1/2"
Rear fender: 24 7/8"
Front lip: 1 3/4"
Sideskirt: 1 7/8"

Its all proportional right?

The lower your fender is, the less ground clearance you will have.
Essentially everyone could go measure the sub-frame to the ground and we could do it that way. But the distance from the lowest part of the car to the top of the fender is the exact same on everyone car. It just makes measuring quick and easy.

Someone correct me if im wrong

I totally agree with you. Measuring this way is more consistant because not everybody is running the same body kits.

I suppose it's all relative to what you're looking for. If in terms of purely suspension settings then yes you are correct and I agree with you 100% that the ground to fender is the best way to go.

However IMO there are some situations where the ground to fender height is not representative of your "slamness" so to speak. An example would be someone with 24" height and the poly k2 bumper (no offense to anyone with one but just an example) that has clearance greater than the stock bumper clearance, probably something like ~4". That to me would not be considered slammed.

For the record, I'm not saying that any of you with low fender measurements is not slammed. Basically I'm just suggesting that ground clearance is just as important as the fender measurement

I really like your setup with the data lip, I actually had the same thing until I hit a dip on the freeway on the way down to socal and it cracked right off lol. I probably would've got another one but no one makes them for the sport bumper anymore so I had no choice. Plus getting rear ended on the same day...I took it as a sign to redo the whole exterior.

But yeah at the height you're at right now once you go aftermarket bumper you're guna be stupid low. In other words, do it!!
