I'd say bushings or worn struts.

WD40 didn't fix the problem. I'll have to take off my sway bar to see if that fixes the problem.

Mine has been making the same sound for a while now, I haven't had it checked out yet though.

I took the sway bar off. It got rid of the knocking noise. I still have the squeaking noise. It happens when I drive on a bumping road. The noise comes from the rear. I have to fix my axle click so maybe I will try to grease some of the areas.

Do you have a after market sound system? The reason i asked is because I had the squeaking noise before and the noise came from all direction. It was near impossible to pin point where the noise was coming from. I have taken everything off and i realized that the guy who installed my rear deck speakers did not put the rear panel back correctly. Once i found where it was, i fixed the problem instantly. Hope this helps!

I'm bone stock. After I took out my sway bar the squeak is occurring more often. I got the endlinks coming so I'll put the sway bar back and look into the suspension area. I also hear a popping noise, but I'll see if it is still there when I put the sway bar back.

SPL bushings

Got the bushings installed, and noise is gone. I had the compression rod, lower, and shock mount bushings installed. I did get a popping noise from my right front when going in a plaza drive way when wheels were turned a good amount to get in.. Just that one time, so far.. Other than that, things seem good. No more clunking, or knocking, over speed bumps or slightly rough roads. Steering did get slightly crisper, so am happy with the better response. Can't really say as I am on tein cs, being for comfort. I'm on stock 18's, dropped a 1/4 away from max. Just an update for guys having the same issues I had. Anyone know what that popping noise was?? Sounded like the right front spring to me.. Think it may have been caused when going in the drive way and wheel may have lifted off the floor?? Only happened once so not really worried, but would appreciate any input from you guys..

i had these same issues of sqeaking suspension on bumps and discovered that both the compression rod bushings and lower control arm bushings are responsible for the squeaks........replaced them and the sqeaking and occasional clunking sound is gone

That is discouraging. I have a squeak over bumps like up into the driveway and I have always thought that is what it was. Not on turning though and only at loww speed. Is yours high speed/low speed? Same sound on turning?

i have the same problem, I tried greasing with WD40 and it didn’t work,
i replaced stabilizer bushings, connecting rods, wheel bearings and suspension arms cause they all needed replacing. Only after this I got the problem.

It’s a click noise when steering on idle or very low speeds. At higher speeds it’s more of a screech.

I’ve been to 4 mechanics and each had a different opinion.
