SPL PRO Eccentric Lockout Kit questions
SPL PRO Eccentric Lockout Kit questions
I've been reading that toe arms aren't the best way to set your toe since they also change another angle of your suspension geometry. I also plan on tracking my car which is another reason not to go with toe bolts since they apparently slip and therefore change your settings. I've been trying to find info on this board about the SPL PRO Eccentric Lockout Kit I saw on CZP. Any thoughts?
Yeah, right-I had too many beers yesterday and wasn't thinking
Description is a bit confising, but looks that in order to use them you need to get both camber and toe arms. Then you completely ditch factory rear toe adjusters, which sit at the inside end of spring bucket. If you get both arms, then you should not have any issues with geometry-you will have full control over rear toe and camber.
IMO this is an overkill..eccentric bolts may slip when used with strut suspension, but inside the control arm...doubt that ..but then if you have 500 hp monster on racing slicks, then why not?

I only wish!!! No, my ride's only got bolt ons but it's also my daily driver so I'm concerned that, if I go with adjustable toe bolts, which I'm doing to prevent uneven tire wear, my suspension settings will shift with aggressive driving. I'm just wondering how much abuse they'll take without needing readjustment. Thanks for your feedback!!!
