centric stoptech strtperf brke pads vs akebono pro act

anybody have experience with both or either one of these pads, i've read good things on them, wondering which is better overall, mainly looking for good initial cold bite, and no squeaking.

on a side note going with centric premium blanks for rotors,

Can't go wrong with the Stop Tech pads as far as performance goes. The Akebonos should perform like OEM with less dusting than OEM or Stop Tech.

Have read, on other car forums (mainly BMW forums), that Stoptech Strperf is a good pad but doesn't have quite the cold bite as OEM, though obviously need to take that with a grain of salt since it's not on the G.

Akebonos are OEM. I changed out my rear pads on my g37 and found out that they use Akebono pads. I still have more than half pads left on my rear set but weren't happy with them.

I've read good thing about Axxis Ult pads. I have project mu NS pads and love them. They are priced in the mid range.

Another price friendly choice would be the Wagner Thermo quiet pads. They've gotten a lot of positive feedback on Driver.

Akebono may be the manufacturer of oem pads but there no way they're the same as the ProActs. I've noticed significant decrease in brake dust over the stock pads for them to be the same.
