Time for Brake Pads!
So Ive been searching around the forums with no real answer. I am in need of brake pads and was just wondering the easiest way to pick up Nissan OEM with out going to the stealership. Or, if there is a good aftermarket brand for around the same price I would get those instead.

thanks for the input, I saw Akebono at Advance but I usually dont buy brakes at parts stores, I wasnt sure of the brand. I have heard very good things about Hawk pads but I am having trouble finding them in a store, I have an autocross coming up soon and need new brakes asap.

I have an 03 I plan on getting a bew brake system in the next year though.
I have heard good things about Hawk HPS with the early sedans. I have also heard good things about Axxis Ultimates. Try searching Hawk HPS and Axxis Ultimates and see what you can find out.
Akebono makes the BBK found on the G37. 2k for a BBK, great price.

Since you plan on doing some autocrossing, I'd maybe run the Hawk HP Plus brake pads. They are made for autocross/track use. Although the HPS brake pad would work well in a autocross event. I don't think any auto part store would carry Hawk brake pads- at least in my area anyway. You will probably need to order them online. If you need the pads ASAP, maybe have them shipped faster like 3 day or 2 day shipping.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

For future reference the Wagner Thermo Quiet have gotten a lot of positive reviews on here and they're available at most auto parts stores.
I will be installing these this weekend. Hoping for good results.
Only thing I don't like about hawk is that they do not have good initial bite. Project mu ns has that but its twice the price
My 05 oems annoy the loss out of me with warping. The only reason I will not use them again.

Really, Ill have to look around at reviews for them.
I just ordered a full set from rockauto.com and there's a $30 rebate until Oct 31st. The whole set will end up being $45.
You may be able to use the rebate regardless of where they are purchased though.
