Just installed New 350z Tokicos with Df210s

well i asked for advice on this setup and didnt get any advice back so i bit the bullet and did it...well i shouldve done some more homework. The ride is pretty firm and my ride height hasnt really changed much. On smooth streets the ride is pretty tolerable but any changes in the road you feel and my car bottoms out which im not happy with. Also my passenger side is making this clunking sound as if something is lose...i know my compression rods are bad but i never had that before when i was on oem shocks. So i dont know what to do, its only my passenger side that bottoms out. im thinking of ordering the correct tokicos and just selling the 350z ones. Any advice on what i can do to try and fix it?

hmm well as for the clunking sounds its just a matter of checking that everything is tight, ive read that they tend to get loose over a period of time or maybe even something is missing...anyways i know very little about this stuff so bump to help this guy out

You took out almost 2" of shock travel and went to lower spring rates, 2 no no's. What your feeling are the bumpstops being asked to be part of the suspension. Your better off with the 350Z D-specs, which are valved the same as the G35 D-specs because the rear shocks have more travel. IMO, sell the springs and shop smarter next time for new springs. I post specs so people like you can avoid mistakes like this, sorry.

If you wanted to be able to drop your car and were getting shocks too, should've went with a coilover. It's a little more money but the fact that you're getting a springs/shock that made for each other will give you a good ride that's still height adjustable. I've always been a fan of tanabe stuff, they have a good coilover that's under 1k, just shop around and do research before making purchases and you'll usually come out happier with your end results. Good luck with everything. http://www.tanabe-usa.com/s0c.asp?id=6

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I run the Tanabe Pro 5 and really like them. However they are not intended to slam your ride or be tracked often. They are designed to ride smooth and comfortable and they do. I could see me tracking my car occasionally with them though. I think they would perform OK.

Man... I'm glad I decided on Tein H techs... The shocks are not your problem, the tokicos D-Spec are shorter on the Z version only on the back not the fronts.
Get rid of those soft springs, if you want that low, go with stiffer spring rates springs.
