New coilovers help needed.....

well I need some assistance on my new coilovers i recieved...

I recieved ARK performance coilovers. Sean had stated that from the factory all of there coilovers come preset at 1.25 to 1.5 on lowering from stock ride height...with that being said I measured this against my BC Racing Coils that I had just pulled off the car and the difference as shown in the pics below is huge.....

My question to you all is...

here is my car lowered on BC Racing Coilovers...I thought this was pretty low to begin with...

I think with the pic shown below that if I leave the NEW ARK coilovers at the height they are set at I will be slammed.....I installed one and already with one installed my SPC Upper A Arm already sits way up inside the fender....

Difference: BC Coil on Left and new ARK on right. from this look it looks like there is alot of room left on the BC Shock for lowering.....

BC Racing Coil installed still with car Jacked up.

ARK Coilover installed with car jacked up

So what do you need help with? Thats the beauty of coilovers-if it is too low, you can always raise them.

Those ARK's are set at MUCH lower than a 1.5" drop. That's a 3" drop, easy.

03' track... Soon to be race car.
It looks like the way the shock body is designed on the ark's you should be able to thread them up some. I.E. twist the shock so that the body of it is taller. Just make sure when you do this that you get the fronts as close to equal as you can, and same with the rears. I think its just going to take some trial and error to figure out. I can't align it if you get it too low, you've seen my machine.

Im glad you got received your coilovers.
It seems as though from your pictures you may need to adjust both lower brackets
to achieve your desired height. Please give me a call if you have any questions regarding our products.

I switched because I worked with Sean and ARK on a semi-sponsorship.

I got everything fixed and my old BC coils were the problem and I got them fixed and they are sold to a local member.

The ARK Coilovers I would say are the best coilovers I have owned by far. I have had Tien Basic, MEgan Racing, BC Racing and now these. Overall the handling from the ARK coils is oustanding. The ride is perfect and is not harsh even when set full stiff on front and med in rear.

I will have a full review once I get the time to post on my install, quality etc.

with that being said here is a pic with the ARK coilvers installed currently.
