Where to buy Project MU NS/Brembo Replacements??

It appears after looking through all the threads in here and on the Net, that the best brake pads for my 2004 G35 6MT are the Project Mu NS brakes, specifically PMU-PSR206 and PMU-PSR260.

Question is...where to buy?

Project Nissan has the best price, but seem to never be available and their online ordering system doesn't work to complete the order. Though many users in this forum appear to have purchased from there and didn't see anything bad said about them. Am just wary after the difficulty even being able to get someone on the phone.

Where else can you economically get these at a reasonable cost?

I bought mine a couple of months ago from THMotorsports.

Shipped pretty quickly as well. I've had several good buying experiences with them.

And, BTW, I've been very happy with the Project Mu NS's so far. Performs very much like OEM but with less dust.

Go to our MARKETPLACE under Vendor Classifed then Vendor Brakes, check out Mr.Wong/Static. Henry can get you anything you want, all ya gotta do is ask. He's honest/reliable and shipping is quick....give em a try.

Has anyone used these on the track? Just curious how they hold up compared to Hawk, PFS, etc.

If you're looking for a track pad, I would look at EBC and Carbotech.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I found them at Hop Up Racing, with free shipping. $139 for the front and $129 for the rear pair. http://www.hopupracing.com/por4hipebrpa.html They were prompt and communicated well with me.

Also, the part number on the rear brakes is now different from Project MU for these pads. PSF260 for the front w/Brembo and PSR906 for the rear w/Brembo.

I have to say I notice a difference between the original brakes and these. Good initial grip, no noise as of yet, I haven't noticed any appreciable dust either. But I live in the desert so dust is kind of a given!

TH has the fronts for $131 and the rears for $122 w/free shipping as well. But it's only a $15 difference in the end.

In terms of difference from the OEM, what are you noticing? I find them to be very similar so far to OEM, even in the cold weather here.

I have the Akebono BBK with the PM NS pads on the rear. The difference in terms from OEM are much improved. I personally like them better than OEM. I got them from b2autodesigns.com for $107 including shipping. Prices have gone up but they are worth it in my opinion. They are a vendor with G35driver.com.

Right, but keep in mind that the Brembo brakes on the '03-04 6MT coupes had different pad compounds than other G's, and I have no idea what compound the Akebono brake kits used, so I was mainly comparing the OEM Brembo compound to the PM NS. But either way, a great pad, and likely the pad I will stick with for a long time.

Does anyone know if there are any Project Mu pads that fit an 07 coupe non sport/brembo. It seems like everywhere i look online , they only say they are compatible with 03-04 brembo or 03-04 non brembo for g35. If you could point me to the exact SKU that would be very helpful Thanks!!

Check out the PSF249 and PSR209

PSfront, PSrear.

That's probably the part number you're looking for.

Call THMotorsports and see if they have them in stock and check compatibility, they're a sponsor of the site and that's where I pulled those part numbers from.

thanks! Someone from enjuku racing said those only fit 03-04 non Brembos, I'm wondering if they just don't make any for 05+ g35 coupes

I'd call them first before ordering. Or at least call before it ships out.
