Spacers w/camber kit at stock height?

I bought new tires 2000 miles back and they are already feathering in the front. Nissan dealer recommand i get a camber kit. I searched but every thread talked about camber kit on a lowered car. I'm going to keep the stock wheels and height but want to imporve the tire wear. I know the SPC front camber kit comes with spacers and the Ichiba kit doesn't. Would i need spcers? Which kit would be best for me? SPC or Ichiba. Im getting quaoted $525 for SPC F+R and $415 for Ichiba F+R. Thanks

I highly doubt you will need the shims with the SPC kit. I'm lowered with no camber issues and my shims are removed.

if you have not done anything to a suspension you should get your alignment done and check your shocks. No need for a spendy camber kit.

there is just simply no way in hell you need a camber kit to fix bad tire wear on a stock suspension.
It's got to be something else.

What kind of wear are you getting according to the link I posted?

That's what I told the Nissan tech. My wear is between one side wear + feathering. How can i check to see if it's something else? Do I just pay a shop to look at the suspension?

i took the car to infiniti dealership and he said there is nothing wrong with the suspension. He said the problem in that i am using Falkin KF-452 tires, which have an aggressive drive and wear out faster. He recommend i go with the oem tires, that will last longer.

You should not need to pay out of pocket for any type of camber kit with stock height. Plus it is more likely your toe is causing problems than camber, when was your last alignment and what were the specs?

What is the camber at?

While -3.0 is acceptable to most of us driving enthusiasts, many conversative shops would consider -1.0 unacceptable. Stock recommendation is around -1.4 if I recall.

Featherin is not only caused by camber. In fact it is caused by a combination of both camber and toe. I have my toe set to zero and I have no feathering whatsoever. I have a little bit of camber wear, but so do almost all cars on the road. It is hard to find a car without negative camber.
