Bootleg SPC camber kit?

Just ran across this on ebay. Looks alarmingly like an SPC kit. Seems too good to be true for $159.

Nah, I just bought a full SPC front and rear set. Just saw these on Ebay. Definitely a Chineese copy of the SPC kit for sure. They even have a bootleg rear SPC kit.

These ARE the SPC arms, painted a different color and at a greater discount.

SPC doesn't make its own products. Like many companies, they contract jobs overseas. These overseas factories use the same manufacturing processes to produce the same products, then sell them to other companies.

Well that makes sense. Would be nice to compare them side by side and see how the quality compares.

Unfortunately using the same specs, visually, doesn't mean you'll get the same quality. It's entirely possible to use the exact specs for geometry and an inferior material to save money. I'm not saying that's what was done here because I don't know anything about the company, but I'll stick with SPC / Eibach (which, based on the Eibach's coming with instructions written by SPC with the SPC logo everywhere, is most likely the exact same thing) or SPL or Cusco which have also both been pretty highly thought of.

Off topic, but does anyone know where to buy the front camber shims from SPC or whoever? Also can they be used with stock A-arms??

I wouldn't trust some cheap chinese made parts. I don't care if the design looks the same, it doesn't mean the quality is. Have fun driving with a cracked arm, hence why I won't buy a rear upper camber arm. Wish someone would make one of those since it makes adjust camber a bit better.

^^^

Why should they? I can guarantee you that the quality is not the same. If parts like these were so cheap, people would use them for tracking/drifting if they were actually good quality. They're not and nobody uses them. Just cheap people trying to mod their car to save some cash rather than spending the money on new equipment or buying a used set in great condition.

I would bet money that the steel is a cheaper alloy and the wall thickness of these is thin. No way these are close to being as high quality as spc.
