Rear Coilover Install Question

hey everyone I own an 07 g35 coupe and have purchased a set of coilovers and the spc camber kits. My question is that stock the rear has the spring and strut seperately but my coilovers are one piece with the spring going over the strut. When I install these does this mean that now where the stock spring used to be, is now going to be empty and I just put the coilover where the stock strut was? I know this may sound stupid but I just want to double check to make sure this is done correctly. All the DIYs I found are showing people installing the aftermarket spring and strut seperately and couldnt find any that show a coilover being installed in the rear. Thanks for the help!!

There are true and OEM style coilovers. You have the true setup. Should be enough info for your search criteria now

I have toe bolts coming with my spc kit, so basically i found that it goes where the strut used to be and you cut a hole in your trunk carpet to adjust the coilovers. What is that toe arm your talking about? Is it ok if i just leave the OEM spring spot empty and just take the spring out?

icic ive actually never heard of it, is its purpose just to adjust toe in the rear? Also is it a direct fit in replacement of the spring bucket?

Check the vendors or occasionally private classifieds for some. You can get used at around 200 for a set. New they range but several of the vendors have them. This (or similar as in diff brand) is what you want. They do make them for the rear active steering too should you need them.
