will low brake pads cause the vdc off light and the slip light to come on? i read a bunch of threads and people were saying it could happen because of tires sizes but i am running stock wheels/tires right now. and all the other issues that i read dont seem to apply to me. it just turned on today on my way home from work. going to check the pads on friday

 

^^^ yes it will. either you need to change your brake pads or also check your break fluid as this could also be another reason your VDC and slip light come on. i had a similar problem. I hope this help
