Advice: Which 350Z springs to put on a 06 coupe?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2006 G35 coupe and I can't find a decisive answer as to whether to use the revised or unrevised springs from a 350Z.

Any input? [I have tried the search]

PS - this guy has a 2006 350Z convertible and he offered me his springs, but the markings on them were weird - 1 purple on front, 2 purple on rear... anybody know what these are?

2004.5+ are revised springs, so his springs are revised.
Putting 350Z springs on your coupe will only lower the front of your car about half an inch. I believe the rear springs (revised) on the coupe and 350Z are the same. So If you want a half inch drop all around you will want the unrevised.

I'm not sure if you checked here

But you can find more info there.

Thanks for the input. Would there be an issue with ride quality using the lower spring rate unrevised springs?

I cant say for a coupe because I have a sedan, but I liked the unrevised over the revised when I ran them on my car.
Nissan revised them because people complained about the car being bouncy. I didnt experience that, but that might be in part to me having aftermarket shocks and not stock 350z shocks.

Any coupe owners tried either the revised or unrevised?

You probably wont find many coupe owners with 350Z springs because of the minimal drop. Most opt for coilovers or aftermarket springs for a more noticable drop. I think that I have only seen one, but the question has been asked before a few times.
