what would be the best damping rate for HKS coilover?

I have this HKS Hipermax LS+ coilover for my G35C

I think it has 30 way damping rates.

I just set the coilovers to the hardet damping rates and the car bounces toooo much

is this normal??

then how many clicks would be the most suitable for sporty&comfort driving for street?

just tell me like 15 clicks from the soft

It all depends on a variety of factors such as: your comfort level, your ride height, your area, how stiff you want it, and the list goes on. Unless you are doing it super stiff to strictly prevent rubbing/hitting your rims if you are that low and aggressive just find what works for you.

This is a good point but he's saying he has the dampening cranked and it's too soft. HKS is known for a comfortable ride, but it definitely should not be bouncing.

I would recommend pulling the suspension out and seeing if it's blown or if it's leaking.

Did you buy the coils new? or used?

If the struts have spent most of their life at maximum stiff then they are more than likely blown as it adds a lot of stress.

Daily driving should be right in the middle to low 20s. So 15 clicks from soft or 22 clicks from soft.

Also check the install is correct and that the spring isn't unseated or loose.
