Can I use Hawk hps brake pads with OEM stock rotors?
Can I use Hawk hps brake pads with OEM stock rotors?
My apologies for the noob question. Its getting to that time to replace my pads. I've tried using the search function, but the results did not answer my question. However I did notice that a lot of users switch their rotors to performance rotors, but if I can get away with just replacing the pads only I'd love to.

I'm going to be the bigger person here, but make sure you sort results in the search by relevancy. (Advanced Search -> Sort by relevancy)
vBulletin lessen over, you can re surface your rotors, but ONLY if you stay above the min width specifications.
Considering you need pads, and the stock rotors are quite soft, if you have any kind of lip on the rotors you will not be able to get them resurfaced.
If you don't track your car replacement rotors would be your cheapest option, but the vendors have decent deals on brake upgrade kits. Make sure to get the correct pads/rotors depending on whether or not you have brembo calipers.
Preempting your possible question, (Not meaning to insult, not sure from your post count) brembo calipers only came on 03-04 6MTs.
