how to press out compression rod bushings ?

how to press out compression rod bushings ?

is there not a tool to rent to do this ?

I just tried a ball joint c- clamp but it wouldn't work

hopefully I wont have to put the car back together with the bad bushings back in tomorrow

need a shop press, take it to a local shop and pay them $20

wonder if Napa has that service available ? I just tried a Oreily's ball joint clamp press rent a tool and couldn't make it work.

I used a shop press took 10min for both.
