knock/rattle that goes away with light brake pressure
Hi, I searched the site with no luck....
2006 g35x
I get a rattle/knock over bumps or on rough roads, I can hear it lightly on the highway running at 100+ km but it goes away when I apply the breaks lightly. Not enough to actually slow me down, just enough to say its activated. Also, it's coming from the drivers side and I can feel light vibrations in the floor on really rough roads.
So I have went through the front end, my brother went through it, and a mechanic. I got the mechanic to replace the stabalizer connector rod, tighten the compression rod bushing and tighten the shock. I have also checked the brake pedal and went through all the brake components I have access to. I removed the caliper and checked the sliders. I don't know....my mechanic does not think that it is the compression rod bushing since it has very little play plus it goes away when the brakes are slightly touched.
If anyone has any suggestions or has come by this issue before please let me know...If there is a thread related to my issue please send me a link or some keywords that would help me find it. Thanks for any help.

yes, should have removed thread but I will leave it for future searches .... I went ahead and replaced my compression rod and it corrected the issue....We noticed the damage to the bushing on the top side which you could not see unless you removed the compression rod....Thanks anyways for the answer...
