These springs have lower spring rates than oem, how does the handling compare to oem?
I love the idea of having comfortable ride, but if that comes at the expense of handling... it may be a different story. Please share your thoughts

I am considering these over Eibach Pro as I daily my car 60 miles a day.

Handling is better than OEM. Swift really did their homework in picking a good combination of ride height and spring rate to lower the car a bit and maintain ride quality. My experience with Swifts has been the same with my 2005 Evo and my previous 2011 STi.

Thanks for the feedback Bso.
Being the Front drops 1" and rears 0.6', did you cut your rear spring mount by 0.4" or so to match it?
I wonder if cutting the rear spring mounts would have any negativity to the ride.

Since I am running 245/40/19 Front and 255/40/19 Rear, I am wondering if the front will be lower than the rear with this setup.

This is a great deal!

The Swift setup is slightly raked. I left it that way. I think it helps with rear rotation around corners. However aesthetically modding the rear spring mounts would level the lowering.

You probably could get away without a rear camber kit. I already had both front and rear camber kits so I don't know for sure.

so switching to Swift springs your ride isn't as stiff now? going from 14kg to 12kg springs? my coils are way to soft. so i was trying to find out what swift springs will help stiffen me up a bit.

Great info!! I'm leaning towards the swift springs over the Tein's. One ques... If I were to go with the Swift Z springs, how would that affect the ride quality? I like everything you've stated about the increased quality with the swift G spings installed, but I was wondering if anyone has installed the swift Z's.

Initially the car was lowered 3/4" up front and only 1/4" rear. I performed the rear spring mount mod to get 3/4" lowering in the rear. This setup handled great but absolutely sucked from a ride quality standpoint. The front was OK but the rear would bottom out and rebound excessively on rough roads which we have a lot of. Increasing the dampening helped to control the excessive rebound but that would stiffen the ride excessively from a compression standpoint. I may be getting old but I hated the bumpy ride. My modded Evo rode better. My G is a daily driver and NOT a track car so started looking for something that rode better. I have previous experience with Swift springs (Evo) and the spring improved both handling and ride over stock. So I debated getting either the G35 or 350Z Swift springs. Ultimately I decided to go with spring meant for my car rather than the Z.

Despite the lack of reviews on this site for the G35 Swift springs, I went ahead and bought them. Some say the lower than stock spring rates are undesirable. I disagree. I think the Swift engineers know what they are doing. The springs are awesome. Combined with the Tokico struts, they handle nearly as well as the stiffer Tein springs but the ride quality is even better than stock despite the lowered ride. I will measure the exact lowering once the springs settle in the stock rubber mounts. I also installed unmodded rear spring mounts.
Good review...do you have picture of your car on the springs?
