So I FINALLY started working on my G. I just lowered it about 5 days ago. Its sitting quite nicely on megan springs, and the drop is pretty aggressive looking. There was no problems with the rear, but with the front I am hearing a metal on metal scraping/rubbing while driving. its not always noticeable but it definitely is there. I'm wondering if it could be the rotor dust shield rubbing against something since it sounds like something rubbing against a thin piece of metal. My big question is if a wheel alignment would help to alleviate the problem since I am waiting a full week before doing that. but also I want to know if the stock camber arms will be able to provide enough positive camber to correct it if that is indeed what needs to be done. Any input is greatly appreciated.
I would definitely get a alignment or at least go get it checked and see how far you might be off. I went with camber arms and dropped my car with Megan springs as well. I don't have any rub and honestly it doesn't feel like I need an alignment but I'm getting my checked. Don't want to kill my tires
well Im not sure exactly how much the drop is, and i could be wrong, but i think its about 1.75" all the way around? and well my concern is that if i spend the money to get an alignment done soon and it turns out that there is still this scraping noise, would i have to get aftermarket camber arms and then another alignment done?
Yeah, anytime you make a change to the suspension you'll want to get an alignment.
Other wise it's just defeating the purpose of a camber/toe kit.
Take it to a shop so they can put it on a lift and try to diagnose the prob.

You are gonna def want to do an allignment asap. And you might want to check under the fender and make sure its not rubbing on any metal or splash guard. I had the same problem and had to do some reconstruction under the fender lol

2. Jack up the car and look underneath for any signs of anything that is scraping, or take it to a shop to look underneath. Hopefully they are not your wheel bearings. Check all of your bushings if they are cracked or loose... that might be it too.
You did not mentioned what wheels your running, any spacers etc... so it is hard to tell you what is making that noise.
3. BACK - Buy a camber kit and toe bolts for your rears, there are so many brands out their like SPC but it depends on your budget. After this is installed then you can properly get your car aligned. This is highly recommended or spend more money on pre mature tire wear.
4. FRONT - Most people do the front too but it is a lot more expensive as you need to buy the whole arm. I myself did not and usually every 3months I would swap tires from left to right or vice versa to even out camber wear. If you do wish to change DO NOT GO CHEAP or you will regret it.
5. I would wait a bit longer than 1 week for the springs to settle in then get an alignment.
