Have an 04 coupe with 20" xxr521's 9.5 up front and 10.5 in the rear with a 295 tire in the rear. Have a 5mm spacer in the back and running the bc coils with the ichiba rear camber arms. Yesterday went up to my shop to install the megan radius arms in the rear to add some positive camber so that my wheels are straight up as opposed to being so negatively cambered. Everything went well and obviously an alignment was done after. Definitely got the look i wanted but when i was driving home, thats when i came up on some issues. First off, i was fishtailing on the highway over slight bumps that i have never before. Didnt think much of it until i took the usual turn near my house. I usually run the turn at about 55mph since it isnt that sharp but this time i was going in at 40 and as i started to turn the vdc kicked on, tires screeching accompanied by the infamous pulsating vibrations from the vdc. I was stunned cause it took me by surprise being the fact that i was only going 40. Never had any issues or tire screeching taking the turn at 55, even done it in my girls RX350 and it was a breeze but wtf? Any ideas what it is?
I did a complete Energy Suspension kit in my coupe, and I found that after I stiffened the car up, it was easier to break the tires loose. The drifting crowd stiffens up their cars to the extreme.
Solution... I dunno. Stickier tires maybe?
