KW V3 vs Tanabe Sustec Pro Z40 Coilovers - which ones?

So I originally had my heart set on KW V3 coils until my friend told me about the Tanabe Sustec Pro Z40's and said they were the best.

From what I can see on paper, it appears the Tanabe's are equally if not more adjustable than the KW's.

I want to maintain a somewhat decent ride (I've read that the KWs ride very well).

Has anyone had any experience with either coil over? Any comments or suggestions appreciated.

My goals are to replace my aging stock springs and struts (100K miles old) and improve handling without impacting ride quality too much. I plan to keep keep the suspension on the softer side and firm it up before track days and what not (I know about the rear adjustment issues and plan to drill a hole or something). L
