BC coils shock maxed out? Help

Hey guys I installed a set of BC BR coils on my 04 coupe about a week ago and I love them so far. But last night I went to lower it some more and the front is perfect but as far as the rear goes..... I got my ride height where I wanted and went to adjust the shock according to the height of the spring. I placed a jack under the control arm and jacked it up until the spring could not move in the spring bucket. So when I go to shorten te shock to accommodate for the drop. The shock maxes out just before the bolt hole lines up. So without a jack under the spring bucket the spring has a little movement. Is this ok? Am I doing something wrong? Will this be ok for the shock? Thanks guys.

So you shorten the rear shocks all the way? Thats the only way to keep the rear springs from moving. Make sure you are using all the appropriate hardware needed for the coilovers to function correctly (rubber bumper on the bottom). Depending on which version BC you got.

Yea the shock is shortened as much as it will go and the spring still has play in the spring bucket. The rubber is on the spring at the bottom.

Yes this is fine, you've just maxed out the adjustability on the strut. The strut still had full travel even when slightly compressed.

Rear must be pretty low though....

The answer I was looking for! Lol thanks man. And yea it's Low but at the same time it isn't lol it's tucking tire but with a 245/45/18 being such a tall tire it's not as low as cars I've had as far a ground clearance. Looks good tho. Just waiting on my wheels to get here lol
