Hey guys, I'm a new member and have a few questions regarding Coil Overs... These will be my first coil overs... as my previous ride had Tokico Shocks/Springs (Integra). But i got a steal of a deal on these coil overs.
I purchased these Brand New in Box, JIC Magic Coil overs... was told they were for a G35 Coupe which i believe also fits Sedans.. I paid only 400 bucks for them and i said why not.. Now i also have the TEIN S-Techs Springs for a 350z so not sure if i should use those with these.
Anyone have JIC MAGIC Coil overs? Are they a good brand or set of Coil Overs?

I've heard that JICs are nice, and I have a friend that is running them on his S14. JIC coilovers seem like a nice product, and if you got them for $400 that's a pretty good deal.
Like any other thing, you should have them serviced from time to time, and this is where I've heard JIC falls a bit short. If you need any service on the shocks, you may have a hard time getting it taken are of in a timely manner. Again, never had any personal experience with their products first hand but have heard many complain about their customer service.
That being said, if the price was right I would run them. You could probably find quite a few additional reviews of their coilovers online, or even on here.

I've had a set on my sedan, they were decent, but they were expensive too. They went out on me pretty quickly though, so I'm not sure how well the used set would compare.

Damn, you made out like a bandit with those. The VIPs I had were a bit bouncy though. It didn't matter how I tuned them, they were always a bit bouncy.

I have no doubt that you could set them up to ride how you like. Hopefully their customer service does not live up the reputation that some have given it, in the event that you need help with your setup. Originally Posted by iMotionG35x
