Brembo rotors recomendations 2003 Coupe

A few years ago I replaced the rotors with new OEM brembo rotors which were cross drilled and within a year the brake began pulsating again. The previous rotors were aftermarket ones which were also cross drilled and they also became warped. So I am not having any kind of luck at all with any cross drilled rotors including aftermarket and the expensive OEM Brembo rotors. The pads are Hawk street and I don't abuse the brakes at all, normal street driven.

Anybody have any recommendations on rotors for the Brembo equipped G35 which don't easily become warped.

i have had DBA rotors and satisfied pads on my car for 20k miles and they are holding up nicely.

another tip i heard somewhere long ago which made sense to me, if you come off the highway fast and get on the brakes hard on the off ramp, dont sit at the light with the brakes on. it can cause pad materiel to transfer to the rotor, causing the brakes to pulsate. a lot of times this can be fixed with an open stretch of road, and a few hard stops followed by a cruise to cool them down.

I've had my Brembo Rotors since 2004 when the car was brand new when I found out that the only Brembo part of the car was the caliper. Since then 8yrs later I've had no problem with them. I will run these rotors again once these guys die out of old age due to normal wear and tear. I've also used the Street Hawk Brake pads over the years in conjuction with the Brembo Rotors.

I need something similar, can you put regular rotors with the Brembo Calipers?

I've had good success with the Centric Premium rotor blanks. Not x-drilled, but it's completely unnecessary for the street.

Solved the problem a while ago, as previously stated the pulsating of the brakes is caused by a build up of brake pad material on one spot on the rotor. I must have heated up the pads up too much then came to a stop holding the pads tightly against the rotors for a time. A transfer of material from the pad to the rotor happened which changed the friction surface enough to cause the pulsation of the brakes. Cleaning the rotors with a buffing pad and brake cleaner solved the problem.
