Reasonable price for suspension parts

What would be a reasonable price for install of struts, shocks and possibly compression rods? My non Infiniti mechanic says around 1200.

Rear shocks should be about 30 min - 1 hr each and the fronts are about 1-1.5 hrs each, so a total of, say, 5 hours at most. Not sure what the hourly rate is for your mechanic, but at $90/hr, that's $450 for the shocks. It shouldn't take more than 1 hr per side for compression rods if you're doing struts at the same time. $1200 sounds way too high.
