My G is going on 90,000 miles and about a year ago when getting my fenders rolled the guy told me my shocks were leaking. Now a year later I decided to pull the trigger on this project and while I'm at it I might as well install some springs as well. I have been doing research on the forums and elsewhere and I have pretty much decided on tein s-tech springs. I want a good drop but nothing extreme or too costly. Unless someone sways me a different way I will get these, but that's not the point of this post...
Now to my question: I have an 05 mt that came with 19" OEM rays so from what I have heard I have the sport suspension. I was looking at the tokico hp blue shocks however upon further research I found that these supposedly don't work with the sport suspension (though one person claimed they do). Does anyone have experience with tokico hp shocks or can anyone recommend a set of shocks to get for the sport suspension coupe that are comparable in price ($300-$400 for a set of four)?

Look at tokico D-spec or Koni Yellow. More than you asked for but quality products that are adjustable and will last longer. I would also look at a set of quality coil overs like KW for the G35/350z
