I want camber not stock specs. Do I need camber kit?
I'm looking at getting coilovers soon but I wanna have a decent amount of camber. I don't care about tire wear at this time. So all I can find when searching about camber kits, is that you need them to get you back to stock specs. I'm not looking to go a gross amount but enough you can deffinatly tell. So am I gonna need a camber kit for that? Also I noticed some sell just camber bolts and some sell the arms. Which is necessary because I noticed a huge price difference. I read something about the stock arm works but you need to round out the holes? Also is that the front only or back or? Lol thanks for any help!
Camber on stock arms depends on how much you're dropped...if you're heavily dropped you're going to get a decent amount of camber without a camber kit...not sure why you want camber though, just for the looks (not my taste)? You're losing handling ability past a certain point
Camber bolts are for the rear which is where the holes need to be modded, the actual arms are for the front. Most kits if not all should allow more negative adjustment. Just research the specs on them.
Depends on your drop. Your biggest issue will be getting your camber matching, and very importantly your toe in spec. You might be able to, might not, depends on your drop and your particular situation.
In any case a decent set of SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts are a lot cheaper than having to replace tires over and over...

get camber arms and toe bolts and an alignment. or if you drop it enough natural camber would be around 3.5 r 2.8 front.

Okay. I was hoping that the stock setup would show camber just by lowering it simply which is what you guys are telling me. I apreciate it. And I know I'd be losing handling which I don't like a whole lot but at the time I won't be going to the track at all and if I decide to then I can just readjust the ride height and get it all spec'd out for handling ya know.
I was thinking something about like this. Not as much as this pic but close to it

If your intention is to get coilovers and do the /-O-\ thing don't worry about a camber kit, concern yourself with finding cheap tires you can replace every 6 months. Don't stray too far from home, tow fees add up....

This isn't being funny. Even the amount of camber you will get dropping on stock will DRAMATICALLY affect tire wear. If your G is a garage queen than don't worry about it. If it's your daily driver than you really need to talk to guys that have done it and understand all the issues and tire wear to expect.
