Early review of Wagner ThermoQuiet pads
I replaced my rear OEM pads with the Wagners last week after reading a lot of positive reviews on them here and on other forums around the Web. Picked up a set for my sedan on Amazon for $35 shipped (local auto parts store wanted $65). I have used OEM and Hawk HPS pads in the past and wasn't completely happy with either set, actually hated the Hawks so much I gave them to a friend after only 5000 miles.
I've put about 300 miles on the Wagners so far and have to say I'm super happy with them. They are a ceramic compound and after bedding them in they are smooth, quiet, have great grip especially under hard braking, and have produced 0 dust. I don't track my car yet but for normal/spirited street driving they seem to have been a good choice. I'm running a Wilwood front BBK and they compliment the rear brakes very nicely. Brake balance seems spot on and my car stops better than it ever has. I will post up a longer term review in the future but so far so good.
