Need help on good brakes & rotors!

So i own a 06 G35 coupe, not to long ago i started hearing this loud screeching sound as i drove, coming from my brakes, and i wasnt hiting the brakes either,it just...sounded on it own as i drove, which was a bit embarrasing. Anyways,i took it to brake masters, and gave me an estimate of 800 to fix cause the rotors & the pads are gone :/ so i was hoping if anyone knew about a good site with GREAT rotors, and brake pads.practically the whole kit,im soon putting my 20" wheels,so brake fitment shouldnt be an issue,i just need help ,my pockets arnt to deep at the moment, but if anyone could please help, thanks!

What do you mean by GREAT rotors and brake pads? That doesn't tell us a single thing about what kind of usage you are looking for from your setup. And if you don't have much money to do your brakes correctly, you shouldn't even thinking about getting some donk 20" rims...

You could try one of our vendor's here or autoanything.com
That's a very crazy price for a shop to be charging, It's a very simple thing to do which would save you a lot of money.

Take a peek at r1concepts.com. They use Centric blanks for their brakes and are probably the best value for the money on the internet. A lot of members here as well as myself have used them with great success.

For an OEM replacement Centric Rotors and Hawk HPS pads worked great for me. Don't forget to change the brake fluid. I use Super Blue ATE fluid. If you want, you can top it off with steel braided brake lines.

Centric blank rotors are fine.

Hawk HPS pads don't dust too bad, but I feel like they have poor initial bite. I am a fan of the Stoptech SP pads.
