BC Racing Coilover HELP!

So i got them installed A-OKay! However they came with this wire to hook onto the top of the strut to adjust the stiffness. This is for the rear, however there is no where for this to stick out(wont fit through any whole). Should i drill a whole that it can fit through?

What have you guys done?

`Michael

Yep you've got to drill a hole unless you have a sedan with the reclining rear seats.

Actually you don't. You just got to remove your rear speaker deck or whatever you want to call it. When you install the rear shocks have the extensions installed to the shocks & where you mount the rear shocks there should be a hole in the middle. Push the extension up in there, then get in your car with the rear deck removed & work it through the hole thats covered up with a plastic cap used to secure baby seats IIRC.

I'll try explain best I can with pics I found.

1. Install the extenders onto the shock & tighten the shock side screw for the extender down. Remove the **** on the other end with adjustment markings.

2. Looking at the image below (Your rear speaker deck should be removed which involves basically removing everything in the rear) there should be those holes (That guy drilled his wider, don't do that). Now slide the extended through one of those holes (I forgot which one, lol). Its going to bend in there a lil once you push the shock up all the way but thats ok. Work it up through there

3. Now this pic should be where it comes out & look like when done. The line runs out the child safety hook which has to be removed.
