Toe arm install help.
Hey all, so I finally have a few days to myself and I decided to finish up my engine bay, and my suspension. So I finished the camber arms and started on the stance toe arms I have. My issue is that the bolt that goes into the chassis will not flipping budge. Des anyone have experience getting the toe arm on. Because I can't get the arm off to save my life. Stillen has a PDF, but it says the bolt was designed not to spin..... Any help would be great.
try a penetrating oil, like pb blaster or some other oil. let it sit on there for a bit then try again. or get yourself a breaker bar or a pipe that will fit over the handle of your socket wrench.
if u can position the wrench horizontally u could use a floor jack to "break it loose" by jack it upwards on the end of the wrench. granted I don't recall where the toe arm bolt is and too lazy to look for it online but I did this method to remove my brembos bolts from the rotor. jus an idea
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe I am also accidentally tightening it. The bolt is between the fender and the car kinda hard to explain it. I think I have been accidentally tightening it DAMN IT!!!!!!!!! I just realized I was hitting the wrench down towards the ground thus spinning the bolt right. I need to hit it up....... K I may try your method. There's a medium amount of room in there. Its a pretty straight forward install. Just have to get them all off first is the. Hard part.
lmao shame to admit I did that too with the caliper bolt. but the bolt was so tight it wasn't moving anyway. ur gonna have to use some brain power and imagine urself facing the bolt. then ull figure out which direction to go lol

Hahaha yea I can only work on my car after I go to work. So my brain power is limited. I just need to get this done and finish the front then the car is back on the. Ground basically. The alignment will be way off though......... That's cool though easy fix.
I'm wrong. These are to repla the spring bucket. I took off the traction arms, which are control arms, but the stillen page got me confused on huh at part I had. These replace the spring bucket, which I have springs in.... I'm going to sell them now.
