Cryo Treated Rotors - Science or Snake Oil
Cryo Treated Rotors - Science or Snake Oil
Looking at the Stoptech Cryo rotors. So Cryo is - in marketing speak - good for longevity, something I desire out of a rotor replacement.
Then I read the following:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=680185
http://rennlist.com/forums/racing-an...-rotors-2.html
So if anyone read the lengthy adventure in research I went through with the above links, do I follow the empirical evidence of pro racers using all cryo rotors only, or do I follow material science guys and just invest in... zinc plated rotors to resist salted snow roads.
Nerding out.

Zinc plated has done me just fine for two seasons now. Consider those, or just buy basic centric parts and paint the rotor hats

UrbanEngineer, what zinc plated rotors did you get? I can only seem to find slotted/drilled versions, which are probably not necessary for me, I am trying to find blanks but perhaps feature creep applies to anything fancy like zinc plating.
