Best coil overs for 2003 g35
Sorry I know this has probably been covered I just couldn't find what I was looking for. I just bought some 19" wheels and tires for my 2003 g35. The gap is now way to big so I want to lower just a little so it doesn't look funny. What would be the best coil over set up to just drop it a little without messing up the way it rides to much. Also how much should I lower it without "slamming" it? I only drive it to work in back like 10 miles and don't drive it all the time. I will probably only have it another year before I upgrade to something newer. Any help would be appreciated.

When you upgrade are you keeping the car?
I say this because springs will be a much cheaper short term alternative if you're only keeping it for another year.
If you really want to go coils, a lot of people here had great results with BC coils (BR).
Keep in mind, you'll likely need a camber kit to fix your alignment after the drop.

No not going to keep the car. Going sell it or trade it in. I thought about springs but just don't want it to ride like crap. If I can spend a little more and get a much better ride it would be worth it to me. If it's not much of a difference what are a good set of springs to go with to drop it an inch or two? If you just change out springs do you have to mess with the camber and get the alignment done still?

Any suspension change you'll want an alignment done regardless. Camber will need to be addressed because you'll probably be out of spec which in turn wears down your tires...see how it all ties in?
If you bother starting, just do it all at once and make the ride much better. I'm currently riding on springs instead of coils for the time being, rides a little more rough but you can feel everything.

After doing some research I think I'm just going to go with the eibach pro- kit springs and spc rear camber kit. I heard I probably woukd not need it for the front. I guess I will know when I take it to get the alignment done.I read it lowers it a little over an inch and doesn't really make it ride to bad.

Those are the springs I have as well. Camber wasn't affected too much in the front but definitely noticeable in the rear. Since the rear tires wear faster anyway, it's good to get a camber kit for them.
The drop is almost perfect to me, could use a little more in the rear but front is spot on.
