Bought myself a 2007 G35 coupe and heard a knocking sound in the front leftside, So I decided I want to change all the controller arms, I'm not to part savy so bare with me.

I changed both sides.

UPPER CONTROLLER ARM
LOWER CONTROLLER ARM
ALL TIERODS (FRONT)


The mechanic told me the car also has Rearward controller arms?

So is this correct for each side?

UPPER CONTROLLER ARM
LOWER CONTROLLER ARM
REAR LOWER CONTROLLER ARM

So it has 6 controller arms total?

The front has a double wishbone suspension, and you should read the suspension section of the service manual to learn about what is up there. Each side has a control arm for a purpose. Learn what!

 

The front lower control arm, rearward, is also typically called the compression arm.

So three arms on each side.
