G35 coupe front strut question

My sons G35 coupe sport package needs front struts, Normally I would go with KYB excell, but shop is saying they want me to get quick strut assembly, and it appears KYB does not make that for this car. I have never used Monroe shocks but being told they are actually pretty good these days, does anybody else have experience using those? Dont want it to ride like an American car....

The KYB's are just fine.

They're just being lazy and don't want to swap your springs, I normally only recommend quick struts to people doing it in their backyard without the proper tools to swap the springs.

You're going to be taking a chance on what springs you are sent, going with a traditional strut cartridge kit you keep your existing springs so you're guaranteed the spring rates aren't going to change.

Go with the KYB Excel-G, cheap and will restore the factory ride.

Like mentioned about, the sport package has different spring rates (they're stiffer). Just stick with KYB replacements, those won't let you down. Just get the ones for sport package. It's like $230 shipped for all 4 corners if you order from rock auto.
