Show me your wheels!
Question guys, I put on a set of Axis Supermesh on an 06 G35 Sedan, staggered 19x8.5 F and 19x9.5 R, the rears look like they're gonna rub against fenders when I bring it down 1.2 Inch with my H&Rs. I wrapped the rears with 275x35x19 Toyo Proxies. Do you guys have any idea if I'm gonna be able to lower this car without serious damage to the tires or fenders, or do I need to get more lo profile tires?

However, you need to swap your tires. At a 275 width, you need the tire to be 30 series, not 35. The 30 matches it up closer with the OEM diameter, and will help to avoid rubbing...

lol. i delayed my wheel purchase soo long that by the time i was ready - i was able to afford more $$$$ wheels. They are actually 19" Axis Penta's Gunmetal(hyperblack) sitting on 245/40 Falkin FK451's on revised 350Z suspension. The car is lowered a little, but not too much to be considered "slammed" looks very clean in person (even tho i think it would look good a bit lower)
i found the axis wheels to be both lighter and stronger...lighter than my stocks 17's! They also have a slightly larger lip than the Privats
I drive in the city daily and the wheels have survived pretty nasty potholes w/o a single blemish (given that i am very careful to avoid the bigger ones also)
