Show me your wheels!
i see what you mean about the tread pattern. looks pretty good. i dropped the cooper bandwagon when i had my last car. wasn't happy with the compound. it didn't grip like i expected to and the ride was loose. i hope these workout for you, as they are quite a bit cheaper than yokohamas.

Thanks!
As for weighing them. I don't know the exact weight, but I do remember that they are lighter than the OEM wheels on the car.

I think the tread pattern is almost identical to the yokos so, looks wise i think they look just as nice they just dont have the cool name.

They look nice too.

Driver72 - the first thing you always say is "Nice. did you weigh 'em?" Perhaps you should start a "What do your wheels weigh" thread.
Make sure you kick it off by posting the wheel weights on your Dodge Caravan.
OOPS! My bad. GRAND Caravan.

^^^I agree. Are we supposed to weigh them before we put them on? Most people know when they purchase their wheel what the its weight is.
What's the reason for the question? Maybe we can help.

my rims weigh 24lbs each, each tire is 24lbs each. but most of that weight is on the outside (which is bad for acceleration). the good part is my sidewall is about 4" so i have very little sidewall height so cornering is absolutely stable. my tn st should remedy my issue.
72 - just in case you were curious....
also, all tire companies have the tire weight of each size on their websites. that's actually why i went with toyo. the further out from the center the weight is, the more effect it has on rotational mass... this issue has been beat to death on earlier threads. had i gone with yokohama or nitto, it would have weighed about 2lbs more on the outside. the easiest place to shave unsprung weight is the tire, and toyo has got the lightest with a very decent compound. the problem you run into with wheels isn't always the overall weight, but where the weight is. there are a few companies that have a forged spoke, but a cast rim, putting most of the weight further away from the center, which is worse than having a heavier wheel with most of weight on the inner side of the wheel. so overall weight is not an all-inclusive way to determine performance characteristics. and the companies that do make the inferior versions are a lot less likely to give you those specs.

My point was that he's asking the same question, so naturally we're curious to ask him why he's asking. If he's trying to figure out which wheel is the lightest or what is the best option for him, then he should ask away I'll be one to help him among others and point him in the right direction.

Well, I wouldn't say "always" since I think I've asked on two different wheels.
But as Texas said, I am interested because of the performance and unsprung
weight issue.
I'm not solely a "bling" type person and personally think it's a bit foolish
to put heavy aftermarket wheels on a performance sedan (or any car really).
If I am going to spend the money on aftermarket wheels, they BETTER be
lighter than the stocks (as well as look equal or better too).
Like any smart man does of a woman, I want more out of
them than just looks.

I did post elsewhere (one of my first posts here) asking what is a
good looking lightweight wheel (under 20 pounds) that doesn't cost
a fortune (under $350 each) that fits the G35's.
Think I got 1 reply, so I started looking and asking here.
Same goes with the tires.
The first thing I've done is looked up replacement tires.
They have got to be better, AND lighter than the stock tires.
I've found VERY few options for our stock size, but
the Continental ContiSport 2's are the best rated in our stock size
and weigh 3 pounds lighter EACH. That's on the outside diameter too, so
that's a significant weight (and inertia) reduction for performance
improvement in every area (acceleration, braking, steering).
Sorry I wasn't clear from the get go, but I figured it would
be obvious as to why I was asking about the weight.
