05 Sedan w/ 350 Tein H - How much to correct camber issues?
 
I have decided to go with 350Z Tein H springs for my sedan. This should result in a 1.4 front drop and a 1.3 rear drop. Suspension is all new to me. Below are a few questions.

What parts will I need to correct the camber issues?
How much will I have to spend for reliable parts?
What brand name should I go with?

This is for my daily driver. I am looking for increased performance and appearance. This will not be a track car. Maybe only a few trips to the 1/4 mile...

I just had someone asked me about my suspension on a 2005 G35 sedan, here it goes.

The suspension setup I have is :

- Stillen Sway Bars
- 350z D-Specs struts (DSP-9)
- 350z Tein H-tech springs
- Energy Suspension 3/8 Spacers for the rear (9.6101)

The spacers makes the rear match the front height. It is known that the rear look lower than the front without them. The spacers are great and the ride height matches evenly.

With this setup I don't have to worry about camber issues.

Once you lower your vehicle, you will need to get a wheel alignment. The ride is stiffer and I now have more control of the steering. The ride is very comfortable to my daily driving. You can adjust the dampers to make is stiffer or softer. The Dpecs dampers setting is set at 4 from firmest. So tighten the dampers all the way to firm and then then 4 full rounds back. The ride will be like stock but better. IMO

I really love your suspension setup lol..

I will keep you guys updated on what routes i will take
And for the camber issue, if you are using Tein..
you will probably have slight camber issues:
around ~ -1.5

depends on if you can handle this camber and how agressive
you drive, if you dun have (pedal to the floor) driving habits..
i would suggest taking it to an alignment shop to make sure
the toe settings is alright .. and check your camber settings
(since with you OEM toe arms, A-arms.. you can't really adjust
your camber)

let us know what camber you will get with your new springs tho.
Fyi, i used to have Eibach prokit and it gave me a camber of <-1.4
and i was happy with that.

You'll definitely want to use rear coil spacers as suggested by socal-oc. I have the exact same spacers he used - they require a little trimming though - and here's how my drop looks with 350z H-Techs...........

I forgot to mention that there was no need for any additional hardware in back - OEM rear camber/toe adjustability was plenty. This isn't surprising since the rear only dropped about 3/4".

However, I am thinking about adding a 350evo front camber arm since there's no camber adjustability at all up front. It dropped about 1.3" which added a bit too much negative camber for my liking. My only hesitation is that I'm gagging on the $850 price tag.:eek:

I might sound like a NOOB, but how does the spacer works, does it affect the performance on the spring, or is it just a part to have an even drop ??

I am planning to drop my sedan this spring, but hoping to get some spring that are for both performance and looks, and after some research I think the 350 H-tech are the ones i will get.

PS. godmans, not keeping it stock?!?!

This is interesting...I have the Eibach prokit and there was no need for spacers at all. In fact the car sits perfect in my opinion with my 18's or 20's. The ride is awesome for daily driving as well. Here are a couple of pics.

Dude, the S-tech and H-tech for the G35 are softer than the OEM specs, some people on the board complain about sagging as time pass by!!
