That's some very interesting results. Although that wasn't the most scientific of experiments (same brake pad, same tire, same driver, etc.) I'm quite suprised that some of the cars with R compound competition tires such as the Honda Tuning or the Super Street car did much worse than the stock car with all season tires. Congrats to Stoptech on coming out on top.

It would have been more reasonable to limit the tires to one brand and one model..... tires play an important role in stopping too as does suspension setup....

in a sense, it is still an apples to oranges compraro and doesn't really show how the brake systems compare...

Besides, it's the true quality measure of a brake system more than just stopping distance?
