Talking Post your Rim Setup here!

I am looking for pics of the "PERFECT" setup.

I prolly gonna go 19x9.5 in the front w/ 245/35 & 19x10.5 in the rear w/ 275x35. The question is the offset...both front and rear

Please provide pics and YOUR specs:
1. rim size/widths (front and rear) with offsets,
2. tire sizes and brand of your tire (cuz this does make a difference) and
3. if you experience ANY rubbing.
Finally include any revisions you would make if you were to do it over again

Thanks in advance...btw this setup is going on with BREMBOS.
If ur gonna do it...do it right the first time, right?

i'm talking about getting as flush to the fenders as possible w/o any rubbing...that is why i'm asking what people are running on their cars right now and their experience with the setup they have

As well as the size and width of the rim, getting the correct offset is as huge a factor on what will look good on the car. If you get the wrong offset, your nice set of rims will look like garbage on the car.

So...this is why I am asking what the specs are for each individuals rim setup, in the front and back, and to provide pics.

Thanks

If I had the coupe I'd go with...

20x8.5 +15 with 245/35/20 front
20x9.5 +20 with 275/30/20 rear

This is as flushed as you can be without any modifications and you can still drop it about 1.25" and be safe.

Hey Chico how about 19s? What would be a good size to make it be as flushed too? Im Thinking 19x9.5 +19 and 19x10.5 +23? Is that right?

Yes...they will be flushed with the fenders if you use 255/35 in the front and 285/30 in the rear.

But, your front wheels are a bit agressive in width. Most set ups I've seen on the coupe that work with no problems are with 8.5" or 9" wide in the front which is what I'd recommend. You might want to do a test fit to make sure it clears the suspension.

volks are interesting because they have different "pad setups"(high, low, superhigh, etc) causing the offset to be different for each setup type and different set of rims...hmmmm?!? what to do

Anyone with a Volk GT-V setup with brembos...what offsets are you running?

anything more more +22 is not aggresive for me.......i had +19 in front with 5mm spacer and +17 in the back back when i had my volks....this will give you the ultimate flushness
