camber problem

well i just got my g35 lowered on tanabe springs and aftermarket wheels 19x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear and when i went to get an alignment and my camber fixed but the store said that the normal camber kits wont work and i would have to get a 800 stillen camber kit to fix the problem for the rear wheels and then after that the wheels will rub on the fenders and i would have go the the fenders rolled. i got a 275/35 toyo tire in the rear. can anyone give me advice on if this is actually true and if anyone has had this problem and if it is fixable???? i would really like to keep it lowered and not have to go back to stock springs. so any advice would be great. thanx

There are other options when it comes to camber kits.

And your wheels may or may not rub your fenders. What's the offset on your wheels? Even if it does rub, it's not the end of the world.

it dropped it 1.2 in the front .9 in the back and +22 offset...i figured if it rubbed over time it would cut the tire eventually? do u recommend rolling my fenders if it does rub?

SPC kits are the best rear kits to go with. Check them out here: www.camberkit.com The majority of G/Z owners are using this kit.

PM me if you have any questions.

Your offset is the problem here. The offset is less than OE, so your wheels are sticking a little farther out than they would with the stock wheels. When you lowered the car, you probably increased negative camber, which causes the wheels to lean like this / \, and your tires didn't rub against the fenders. If you adjust the camber to make the wheels like this l l, you will bring the tops of the tires very close to the fenders. Your choices will probably be to change wheels, go back to stock height, or roll the fenders. My guess is you'll want to roll the fenders.

Not to be a jerk and steal the thread, but I have the same exact set up for the wheels except with Falken St-115. My question is that I want to drop my ride in the near future, but how low can I go without having to deal with negative chamber issues and having to roll my fenders? Thanks
