I forgot and scraped my lip parking to close to the curb but there was no paint damage I will be gentle from now on...

A tight 2 finger gap in front and a loose 2 finger gap in the back.

1.1 inch drop with Eibach Pro Kit springs

VERY NICE CAR--no 3 series ride height/tire profile envy for you!

Can you give me a breakdown of prokit price and the install charge?

I have an 03.5 G, that I plan on putting a full aero kit, pro-kit, then 19" wheels..................

Is there anything I should know--or is it as simple as ship springs to house and drive to shop for install and forget it?

The ride is good, so all you do is just watch curb while parking and steep driveways ?(resid. and commercial)

Very nice perry. I have the same springs on my car and after I was done, I thought, that ride height is just right. Lowered slightly but not slammed.

Texan, the pro kit's are expensive compared to tein H techs or S techs and it seems they drop the car lower than they advertise it's more like 1.5 inches in the front. I had a local shop install the springs and do the alignment it cost $600 dollars total you can probably get it done for a lot less if you purchase the springs yourself and then find a good shop to install them. Since I live in Hawaii everything cost more...

I paid about $390 for the Pro-Kits and installation. Love the slight drop and ride is excellent.

Question Questions

I love the look, however I have a few questions. I want HANDELING along with lowering (the two DO seem to go together) I have the sport suspension now. How much better/worse is the HANDELING? Do you need to replace the shocks to get the most from lowering? What would be the best compromise for ride/handling, springs/shocks or adjustable coil overs?

Finished installing on an 05 5AT sedan non-sport

Just finished yesterday installing the eibach kit, took me 1 hr to figure out the passenger front and then was super easy for the other side and the back 2, maybe 3hrs tops taking it slow, very easy if you have 2 jacks and tools.

Just got my car aligned, wow was it way out of whack, but on turns now the car hugs the road a lot more and I feel a bit more confident in my "spirited" driving style. I had the alignment adjusted to give me more traction w/ the tires somehow (he set something on the hunter aligner). But overall nice drop and ride feels the same if not better. What's next?

If you want the best possible compromise on performance and handling, make another choice, one that use's better dampning with linear spring rates. Sedan prokit's were R&D on a sedan with a non sport suspension. A good economical choice would be oem 350Z springs and Tokico D-specs, then Tein CS coilovers, followed by the HKS RS coilovers. I'd tell you to do Tein Basics, but it sounds to me like they'd likely be too firm in your case.

I don't want to lower more than and inch or so. I don't like the "slammed" look. (except on show cars ). I got hooked last weekend running the "Raging Bull" and I want more! So I'm going for sway bars and a new suspension set up. I don't want it to ride like a buck board, but I want it firm. I would also like to be able to adjust the dampening when I want to go fast.
