brake dust on rims

hay guys i have some brake dust STOCK on my rims at the edges and it does not come off i washed it, scrubed it and nothing seams to get it off. anyone know how i can get it out. PLZ HELP ME. i have powder coated black AXIS MILANOS with polished lip.

hmm pics? i am thinking you should avoid any type of "scrubbing" on your rims. i think i had some sort of green stuff made especialy for break dust. works like a charm. be careful when selecting cleaning agents though!! ive seen many many polished lips destroyed by chemicals that are way too strong.

When I wash my car I always first spray my wheels and tires with simple green, then wait a minute or two then agitate with a wheel brush, then spray it off. Works really well on brake dust, you might want to give it a try.

try wheel wax or if that doesn't work try some clay bar.

No, I'm sure he'd be able to tell the difference between a curbed rim and brake dust.

I have the same thing too in the corner of my rims. Usually some clear magic and a cloth will take it off. Let it sit for a minute or two.

try some cleaner wax from Meguiars. don't use it too often though as it's
an abrasive wax.

its not curbed, the brake dust is stock on the part ware the spoke connects to the lip its a narow place that i cant clean really good thats why it ended up getting stock.
