Stillen sways

I went to Stillen on Monday and had thier sways installed on my G. My car handles a lot flatter in the curves now. It's really noticeable on quick switch back curves. The tech at Stillen set both front and rear bars at the medium setting. He stated this set up works well for most G owners. I feel it's a good mod for the money.

I prefer medium up front (which really doesn't seem to be too different than stock) and full in back. The full stiff setting in the back makes the car more fun as you can kick the back end out a bit easier. The difference between medium and full stiff is quite pronounced--more than the difference from stock to medium setting.

One of the service guys at the dealership said the sways on medium is like the car without them and only putting them on stiff would be an improvement. Personally I have no idea but thought I'd share what I heard. Not sure but it seems like the sways would make your ride less comfortable by lessening the independent suspension. More sport = less comfort or not? I could afford more but I was also considering some less expensive mods just to get my feet wet.

The sways were $289 and the installation was $150.

The Stillen sways are stiffer than the factory sways even in the softest setting.

I also just had the Stillen sways installed; Front/Soft Rear/Medium. I also had Tein CS coilovers installed at the same time, with the car being lowered about 1.5". I figured the sways at those setting would be a good start, and so far I'm happy with them like that.

Installed my Stillen bars last Friday. The install was quite simple. Both bars were set at med/med. I must say that these bars are great. They afford a sure and solid feel through the twisties. All in all, I am very pleased with this mod.
