Really BLACK wheels
My wheels haven't been cleaned for a little over one month because of winter. I have a machine lip that has turned pitch black with a lot of brake dust. I have tried to wash the brake dust of with regular car wash, but most of it won't even come off. I am in the process of trying to scrub the brake dust off with a toothbrush!!!
What solution do you guys have for brake dust that have been caked on a machine lip for over a month?
I'm really devastated that it won't come off. I've been working at the brake dust for 20 minutes and it won't come off. Even though they are a winter setup, I'm very angry at myself for not cleaning the wheels more often.
I hope you guys can help me out. THANKS!

Mother's Wheel Cleaner. Its a spray bottle you can get from any car shop really. Spray it on when the wheels are dry and cool and wash it off a minute later. It takes a lot to get it all off but it works great. Good luck

I have ASA j8s. They're a winter setup but I like them. I ended up scratching the machine lip with the green, harsh side of a dishwashing sponge. Most of the brake dust came off, but it left scratches on the wheels. Any ways to smooth it out?
I'll be sure to try a bottle of that mother's wheel cleaner for weekly cleaning.
